Kurmuş

Co-Founder

I spent 5 years as a market research coordinator at Piar Gallup and SIAR, 25 years as a partner at Şensezgin Kurmuş consulting firm, and my NGO experience spans 8 years, during which I served as a founder and board member of PWN Istanbul, a board member of KODA, and a board member of the Üsküdar American Alumni Association. I wrote my life's mission twenty years ago: "deliver results that add value." For years, I've been dedicated to producing results, always employing the best methods. I've launched thousands of projects, initiatives, ideas, and clubs. Some were highly successful, others faded away. I believe people and organizations have immense potential to create value, especially when connected with the right methods, approaches, and individuals. That's why I'm constantly seeking and learning about the right methods, approaches, and people; there's no end to learning. My childhood, youth, adulthood, and middle age have been shaped by this pursuit, and my later years will continue to be dedicated to these endeavors. Whenever I see an opportunity, I dive in: Convinced that "people prove themselves on the field," I dedicated 15 years to basketball. Believing that "this school could be managed differently," I joined the student union for 7 years. Convinced that "university could foster a different kind of learning and research," I pursued higher education in America. Believing "America should be a different kind of superpower," I began studying Russian. With Ali Emre, I ventured into organizational development and training. With Emel Şensezgin, I founded Şensezgin Kurmuş Consulting, driven by the belief that "this business can be done differently." I asked, "Where are women in corporate life?" and founded the PWN Istanbul Chapter with Demet Çaldağ. I asserted that "a different kind of education is possible in villages with Mine Ekinci," and supported KODA. Now, I declare the journey isn't over yet, and I'm embarking on Genwise with Tuğrul Ağırbaş, another kindred spirit.
